  • VK Logic are currently seeking an Electrical Draftsperson/Designer. This role will support the design and layout of electrical installations and automated plant and equipment, prepare electrical drawings, plans and diagrams. A trainee would be considered for the position. We will offer the right candidate:

    Responsibilities and duties include:

    • Design 2D electrical drawings for automated plant and equipment.
    • Produce ‘as built’ drawings from provided mark-ups of equipment installations and field wiring.
    • Site verification of drawings as required.
    • Utilising safe for work processes and encouraging safety improvements.

    To be successful for the position you have the following skills and attributes:

    • Electrical experience in automated industry: Licenced Electrical Trade, Associate Degree (Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or 5 years relevant industry experience.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong teamwork skills with an ability to work successfully with the electrical and automation teams.
    • Flexible attitude and sound work ethic
    • Ability to achieve results and work within specific time frames.
    • High attention to detail with an ability to work autonomously.
    • A strong commitment to WHS
    • A current Australian Driver Licence
    • Compliance to Covid health requirements, including vaccination and testing as deemed necessary.

    The following skills are preferable but not required for a trainee position:

    • Experience as an Electrical Draftsperson or Designer
    • Proficient with 2D drawing/drafting.
    • Experience in producing detailed drawings by interpreting design requirements from scope of work or functional descriptions, particularly for heavy industry within process plant.
    • AutoCAD experience with ability to utilise common Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
    • Demonstrated understanding of factory automation systems including PLC’s, VSD’s, Machine Safety, SCADA, HMI’s and networking

  • Based in Albury, VK Logic provides Integrated Automation, Electrical and Engineering Services. We will offer the right candidate:

    • Excellent Remuneration – Expected Annual Earnings 100k+

    • Relocation Assistance (negotiable)

    You will be required to work on a rotating shift roster, with overtime on offer. Your main focus will be to carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment. This role will be based in Howlong at the facility of a key customer.

    In addition, you will also be required to take a leading role in major overhauls, equipment modifications, and assist with projects requiring manufacturing of machined components. We are seeking a self-motivated person, wishing to upskill and share their experience and knowledge.

    To be successful for this position you will have the following skills and attributes:

    • Relevant Trade Qualifications
    • Experienced in machining, minor fabrications and welding.
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
    • Hydraulics pneumatics experience required.
    • Drawing interpretation
    • Ability to work well both within a team and autonomously.
    • White Card.

    Advantageous but not essential:

    • TIG & MIG welding.
    • High Risk Work Licences, WAH, EWP and Confined Space preferred.
    • Experience in food processing facilities.

  • Based in Albury, VK Logic provides Integrated Automation, Electrical and Engineering Services. We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson. Your role will consist predominantly of 3D modelling of concepts, layouts, mechanical design and shop drawings.

    To be successful in this role you must have the following credentials:

    • Design drafting certification or Advanced Diploma or Associates Degree in Engineering, Designing or related degree or 2 years of work experience.
    • Solidworks and/or Inventor proficiency (preference for both) as well as AutoCAD.
    • Experience in food industry preferred.
    • Experienced in sheet metal fabrication.
    • Proficient in creating, updating and maintaining drawings in AutoCAD Mechanical, adhering to AS1100 Engineering Standards and common design best practices.
    • Current Australian Driver Licence.
    • Ability to work well within a team environment.
    • Sound mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required.
    • Strong work ethic with ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

    Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, your main focus will be to take a leading role in carrying out repairs, maintenance and modifications of equipment.

    In addition, you will also be required to assist with projects requiring manufacturing of machined components. We are seeking a self-motivated person, wishing to upskill and share their experience and knowledge.

    To be successful for the position you have the following skills and attributes:

    • Trade qualified fitter/machinist.
    • Previous experience in machining, minor fabrications and welding.
    • Sound knowledge of dismantling faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replacement of defective parts.
    • Ability to set up and adjust machines and equipment.
    • Extensive experience operating manual lathes, milling and boring machines.
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Hydraulics pneumatics experience.
    • Drawing interpretation proficiency.
    • Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required.

  • We are looking to appoint an Automation Engineer or Mechatronic Engineer. Reporting to the Automation and Machine Safety Team Leader, this role is integral to allow VK Logic to deliver Automated solutions to our customers. Working with trades, engineers and technicians to ensure activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner and conform to quality, time, cost and productivity requirements. We are seeking a person with experience in automation software and hardware and preferably show knowledge and experience in safety systems and pneumatic systems. Leading team members in projects and assisting in developing other team member’s skills is a requirement for the position.

    To be successful for the position you have the following skills and attributes:

    • Knowledge PLC/SCADA systems
    • Experience in electrical and automation installations, switchboards etc.
    • Implementing changes, upgrades or modifications to existing systems.
    • Be familiar with PLC’s and setting up and maintaining Variable Speed Drives.
    • Drawing software experience would be highly regarded.
    • You will have strongly developed communication skills (verbal, written) and requirements.
    • This role suits an energetic person who can work autonomously.
    • Project Management experience
    • Robotics experience highly regarded
    • Automated industrial machinery design and implementation

  • Based in Albury, VK Logic provides Integrated Automation, Electrical and Engineering Services. We are looking to appoint an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Electrical Maintenance Team based on site at our client’s facility. We will offer the right candidate:

    Your tasks will include:

    • Preventative & breakdown maintenance of Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation Equipment.
    • Implementation of in-plant/in-house projects with Electrical Team.
    • Fault finding for process/maintenance of Electrical, Automation & Instrumentation equipment.
    • Working with PLC panels (basic programming where required) for associated equipment.
    • Participation in shutdown & maintenance outages.
    • 8 Hour shifts Monday-Friday with Overtime on offer.
    • On-Call on a rotating roster (including weekends).

    Please note that this is an Electrical Trade Role – Engineers with no trade experience need not apply.

    To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following:

    • A proven background in Electrical Maintenance within the Industrial Sector, Electrical Licence Essential.
    • Employment within a similar environment – Manufacturing Facilities (highly regarded).
    • You will be familiar working with and maintaining industrial production Machinery & Automation systems including PLC’s, various VSD’s, and a variety of instrumentation and sensor systems.

    Reporting to the Mechanical Workshop Manager, your main focus will be to carry out various fabrication tasks and welding activities.

    In addition, you will also be required to take a lead role in equipment modifications, fabrication designs tube and pipework installations and supervision of fabrication projects.

    To be successful for the position you have the following skills and attributes:

    • Relevant Trade Qualifications
    • Experience in stainless steel tube and pipework
    • Experience in all aspects of fabrication
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    • Extensive welding experience.
    • Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required
    • Supervisory experience will be highly regarded.
    • Drawing interpretation proficiency.
    • High Risk Work Licences, WAH and EWP preferred
